Black girl black girl little black girl...
Too afraid to be herself.... to blossom
within her O W N skin because she was too
busy trying to fit in.
Enduring the feelings of being different, being weird, being obedient.
She's too
nerdy, too skinny but yet athletic.
Black girl black girl little black girl...
Too afraid to be herself... to blossom
within her O W N skin because she was too
busy trying to fit in.
Yes she lived in a two parent home where
the love was flowing... but yet felt in the
shadows when the home was growing.
Black girl black girl T H I S little black girl
grew up in the church but ran from her
calling... promising her grandmother she would get serious one day.... one day when
she's Thirty.
But of course when the Lord speaks
there's not much denying....
ME!.... Anointed?!.... Lord somebody G O T S to be lying.

grew up being different, strange and a
OVER THE TOP Christian... At least that's
what they say when her presence is away.
Black girl black girl little black girl is more
than what she protrayed, more than what
she wanted others to believe but all she
needed to do... was S P E A K!
